Häfele one of 100 family businesses in the illustrated book "From the best family"

Häfele is once again portrayed as one of 100 exemplary family businesses in the ZEIT illustrated book "Aus bester Familie". The publishers of the classic are the publicist and entrepreneur Dr. Florian Langenscheidt and the internationally leading expert for family businesses Professor Dr. Peter May.
 

The ZEIT illustrated book "From the best family" presents 100 exemplary family businesses. Häfele is represented again in the new edition and looks back on 100 successful years in the portrait.

Looking back on 100 successful years

In keeping with the 100th anniversary of the family business in 2023, the portrait of Häfele provides an overview of the career of the specialist for furniture and construction fittings, electronic locking systems and LED light. Founded as a "specialist shop for hardware" in Aulendorf, Württemberg, Adolf Häfele specialized early on in fittings for furniture production and moved the headquarters to Nagold. Internationalisation, the development of our own product ranges, digitalisation, new fields of expertise in light and networking – Häfele has always continued to develop. Under Sibylle Thierer, who represents the third generation, Häfele went from being a hardware dealer and manufacturer to a globally sought-after specialist and consultant for furnishing rooms of all kinds.
 

Sibylle Thierer represents the third generation of the Häfele shareholder family. After 20 years at the helm of the family business, she is stepping down as Chairman of the Executive Board for the start of the next century.

Outlook on the big anniversary year 2023

At the start of the next century, Sibylle Thierer hands over the chairmanship of the management to Managing Director Gregor Riekena. "We are looking forward to a terrific anniversary year in which we celebrate the successful journey together with our partners," said the outgoing company manager. "At the same time, our realignment shows that Häfele is ready for the future."
