To our loyal customers, it is hard to believe that Easter is just around the corner and Christmas is now a distant memory. Easter eggs and Hot Cross buns adorn our supermarket shelves and the kids are looking for the Easter Bunny to bring them their treats.
We at Häfele also have some treats in store. In this edition of the Trade Newsletter we highlight a number of new initiatives. We have interesting articles on our new Residential Door Hardware range and our recently released range of Alfresco Kitchens, a must in every Aussie backyard.
Also mentioned are some upcoming events with a focus on the KBDI and information pertaining to Interzum ’19 being held in Cologne, Germany from the 21st – 24th May. Try to get across to Cologne, visit the Häfele Booth, meet our Aussie staff who will be there to greet you, enjoying a schnitzel and a koelsch (Cologne beer) at the same time.

Marketing: Promotions of the month!
There's no month passing by without a new promotion for our customers. We are very excited to announce that we have partnered with GRASS to offer you the trip of the year for 2020! You can win a trip to Europe and the Austrian Grand Prix 2020 - everything is paid for!
Your trip includes 2x Grandstand tickets to The Austrian Formula One Grand Prix, 2x Business class return airfares to Austria, 1 weeks accommodation, tour of the Grass factory and all transfers.
This promotion starts today, 1st April 2019 and will conclude on Tuesday, 31st December 2019.
How you can enter? Simply purchase 100 sets of Scala drawers in a calendar month to earn a ticket in the prize draw. You can receive one entry per month for as long as the promotion is on. As the promotion has a total duration of nine months, you can receive up to nine entries in the prize draw to win a trip for two to the Austrian Grand Prix 2020.
The winner will be drawn by a member of the general public on Monday, 13th January 2020 and the winner will be notified in writing via email.

Special Mention: Product of the month
The Docking Drawer is a popular in-drawer power outlet solution that doesn't sacrifice on your design. We introduced Point Pod to you last week which has seen great popularity among you as a wonderful solution for power points hidden in the kitchen bench top.

Outlook: Upcoming Events with Häfele Australia
As part of Häfele’s ongoing commitment to the Kitchen and Bathroom Designers Institute (KBDI), we will be co-sponsoring the SA Chapter event on April the 30th in Adelaide. We expect between 80 -100 members to arrive and partake in refreshments while hearing and seeing the latest initiatives from the various companies being represented.
This is always a great opportunity to network with kitchen and bathroom designers who don’t necessarily get the opportunity to come to our showroom or be seen by a representative in order to keep up to date with the newest products on offer.
Earlier than that, KBDI hosts an event in Alexandria, NSW, on Wednesday, April 10th, at HIVE by Laminex, 69a Bourke Street. The topic will be "3 Steps for building a Digital Marketing Strategy". Make sure to head to their website for more information.
Don't forget to make a note in your diary for Interzum 2019 in Cologne from 21st to the 24th of May. Interzum is the world’s leading trade fair for furniture production and interior design held every two years. Häfele represents prominently in this fair and a contingent of Häfele Australia personnel will be attending. We look forward to seeing you there. More on Interzum 2019 in next month's newsletter.
