Häfele - Company portrait

Over the last 99 years, the German family owned and operated company has developed from a local hardware store into a globally active company. In the meantime, 38 subsidiaries and numerous other agencies belong to the Häfele Group. The management is currently in the hands of the family's third generation: Sibylle Thierer took over the chairmanship of the Häfele Group in 2003.

In recent years, the business figures of the Häfele Group have developed positively despite a challenging economic environment. In the 2021 financial year, the Häfele Group achieved a turnover of 1.7 billion euros with an export share of 79%. Häfele employs over 8,000 people worldwide and serves over 160,000 customers. In addition to customers from the furniture industry and trade, these also include architects, planners and builders.
