Dialock permits access for all electrically operated entrances as well as identification and monitoring at unmanned main and side entrances. All that is needed is to briefly hold the key in front of the wall terminal.

Only entitled users can use the Dialock key to enter the room via the door terminal. Access can also be restricted to certain times. If a key is lost, there is no need to change locks: A new key is simply programmed to replace the lost one.

For the first time, Häfele has developed the concept of electronic opening systems beyond the field of architectural hardware and applied it to furniture locking systems: Dialock furniture lock handles and central locking systems. One and the same key is used to open not only the door to the room but also the furniture doors.

A wall terminal can be used to open up to 128 internal furniture doors either individually or in groups. Using this facility, Dialock offers a method for convenient management of post office boxes, safety deposit boxes and locker systems.

Dialock protects against unauthorized operation of valuable plant and machinery. The upstream wall terminal can also be used for the acquisition and storage of data.

The Dialock key can also be used to store and register money-based transactions. This allows all types of dispensing and vending machines to be operated and controlled using the system.

Dialock is already in successful use at cash desks in a variety of applications, for example in hotel restaurants and bars. This cashless system of payment offers guests outstanding convenience. Canteen management can also be run using Dialock.

Electrically powered elevators are controlled using the wall terminal, making it possible for only authorized personnel to reach certain storeys of the building. This prevents unauthorized access to sensitive areas.

The Dialock key permits all types of electrically operated access points such as parking barriers, roller doors and hinging garage doors to be opened. This allows improved organization and control of vehicles entering pay car parks.

Dialock is not only an access control system, it is also capable of managing data required for time recording. In this way, it is possible to regulate all access and entrance functions using the Dialock key's microchip.
