Häfele Australia was delighted to become the national sponsor for 2023 HIA Awards – Specialised Housing category and celebrate projects across Australia in this growing accommodation sector.
A much-anticipated industry event, the HIA Awards identify, highlight and reward excellence throughout the housing industry, representing the finest tradespeople and their businesses throughout Australia.
Häfele together with our 60+ invited guests, attended 11 regional events from Perth, Western Australia to Hobart, Tasmania and all the way north to Cairns, QLD and enjoyed an evening of entertainment and celebration.
The HIA Specialised Housing award recognises excellence in the construction and design of a residential building or other accommodation project tailored to meet the specific housing needs of an individual or group, such as aged persons dwellings, retirement villages, accommodation for people with disabilities, accessible, adaptable, liveable or universal design housing.
More than 4.4 million Australians currently live with a disability and together with our ageing population, the demand for specialised housing will continue to grow. As a global leader in innovative hardware solutions, Häfele in uniquely positioned to source and supply high quality products to improve accessibility in our homes, workplaces, and education spaces.
Our dedication to this growing accommodation sector is supported with 8 display showrooms and an experienced team of 6 product specialists to service projects across Australia. Häfele Australia have proudly supplied hardware solutions for more than 500 specialist accommodation projects in 2023 including product donations to community projects such as Madison House, Tasmania.
